Interview:

We are sitting here with the one and only Jordan Bircknell and we found out what its like being the biggest selling artist of 2012.

So whats fame like?
"its weird to think that a year ago I was sitting in my room playing the xbox and going to work at Morrisons and now I'm performing at music awards and stuff, its pretty crazy!"

Yeah I'm sure it is, so what are you planning on doing this year?
"well its a new year, so new music, Ive established myself enough that people know me so now its all about the music that's what I'm here for, I'm just going to sit down write what I feel and hopefully you guys like it."

So there is defiantly a new album out this year?
"*laughs* yeah you got me there, yes you got an exclusive there defiantly is a new album out and maybe even another world tour"

So you have already been asked to perform at the Brits and the EMA's hows that feel?
"yeah like I said its crazy! I cant believe Ive been asked, of course its an honour and I'm going to love doing it."

So we all know your story, you uploaded vids on Youtube everyone saw them and you had record labels begging you to be signed by them how did you decide to go with Island Def Jam Records in America?
"yeah it was kinda weird at the time having all these people ringing me offering me record deals, but I suppose the reason I went for them is because they have some of the biggest artists signed to their label like Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Usher but also they are based in America and everyone knows America is the where he heart of the music industry is."

So you had an amazing year last year 4 number ones, 2 number 1 albums and a huge cabinet of awards what can you possible do to top this year?
"I dint know if i can top it you know its been the best year of my life but ill get back into the studio and make some more great songs and hopefully i can do what I did last year"
We are more than positive that you will do it Jordan.
"*laughs* thank you."

If you could only win 1 award this year what would it be, this is a question from one of your twitter followers, 1 of the 30 million you have.
"yeah I think I'm up to like 32 million twitter followers now its insane! but that's a great question, err I would defiantly say a Grammy but you gotta be around a long time and do some serious stuff to get one of those but that's what I'm aiming for."

Lastly what artist would you pick to collaborate with this year and why?
"I would probably go with Bieber we both make great songs and we have very similar styles of music so I think it would be a huge hit if i collaborated with him"
